THE ROSARIANS:
The students of Collegio de San Juan de Letran-Manaoag are called the Rosarians not only because, historically, the College is a descendant of the Holy Rosary Academy but also because its patron is the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Manaoag.
The motto of the College is Vita Fideis et Veritatis ProDeo et Patria (A life of Faith and truth in the service of God and Country). Hopefully, this would distinguish the kind of life the Rosarian lives both inside the campus and beyond.
The Rosarian has a passion for life and all its forms and interrelatedness. That is why, he or she takes it upon himself or herself to preserve, enhance, and protect life against all kinds of attack and exploitation. This includes not only a deep respect for human life but also a high esteem and care for the natural environment.
Like the Blessed Virgin Mary who has unconditional faith, trust in and submissiveness to God's will, the Rosarian always endeavors to think, decide, and act according to God's plan as expressed through His World with the guidance of the Church. This, in a nutshell, characterizes his or her life of faith.
Belonging to an institution that is permeated by the Dominican ideals and spirit, the Rosarian always nurtures a hunger for truth. That is why, he or she always engages in the search for truth wherever it is found: in the library, laboratory, in Church, the classroom or from any other source of knowledge and information. He or she then shares the Truth that he or she possesses for the good of the community.
All the efforts a Rosarian exerts is not only for his or her own advancement but always with a view of serving God and enriching the life of the Church and country, especially the life of those who belong to the neglected sectors of the society
